The Kids Soup Kitchen was set up by a German association and has been supported from the Harz region since 2018. Kenial is at the Christkindl Market in Bad Tölz. In the beautiful old town, we are selling small and large mountains for children in need. We’re a little cold, but happy about everyone who stops by. Every purchase supports our projects that help children in need around the world.

The new first-grade class of the Happy School in Rwanda is starting school. A wonderful project by KJHR from Düsseldorf. And, as every year, we have the honor of equipping the 25 first-graders with school backpacks, sandals, and shirts. Simply awesome. Thanks to Tatonka, Sprayway, and Columbia for their support.
Lena is back in Namibia and visits the Omuhoro School. For the graduating class of the primary school she has a backpack for each child. For many of the children that is their first possession ever. The plan is to put only the school supplies in, but a few favorite things will probably be packed…

It’s accomplished. We spent months getting our shipment of items (backpacks, bags, and clothing – thanks to Tatonka and the DAV National Climbing Team) to Chile. All the bureaucracy, the back-and-forth of countless documents and applications, lasted seemingly forever.
