From 2016 to 2019 we support the magical children’s home in the middle of the city. In 2018, the lady that managed the home suffers a heart attack. She cannot continue the work. The children are distributed to other homes in the city. The first to visit the children in 2016 is the Kenial mountaineer Luis Stitzinger. He brought needed shoes and warm weatherproof jackets in October 2016 to the children’s home. He guided the Rolwaling Trek and before he visited the kids. Warm jackets for Bidesh, Kamal, Maya, Sita. LOWA gave all the shoes, in the right sizes. Targeted and direct.

Mountain. Mount Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world. In October Luis will guide the Rolwaling Trek, in 2017 they are fulfilling themselves a personal dream with another attempt on the scaling of Mt. Manaslu.
Athletes. Alix von Melle and Luis Stizinger are the most successful expedition-mountaineering couple in Germany. So far, they’ve toured together on 9 +8000m mountains without pressurised oxygen and scaled 6 of them successfully.
