Anke visits the children and the director at the children’s home in Kathmandu. The children are a wonderful community, the cook provides warm meals, and the caregiver Gopi organizes the school runs, study times, and even the proper braids to match the school uniforms. As the director, Prajola keeps an eye on everything and takes care of far more than just medical support—she manages contracts with the schools and always has an open ear for each and every one of them.

On Saturdays, it’s wonderful to play together on the roof.

This time, we brought plenty of socks, lots of colorful pencils, and clothing as well.

Maya does the cooking, and Gopi makes sure the bus is caught on time, the braids are done properly, and everything else is taken care of.
