In September skier and mountain climber Kurt Hartel once more visited the school, located in the very poor district La Lisa, on the outskirts of Havana.<\/p>\n<p>This area, avoided by mainstream tourism, is very familiar to Kurt by now. With his last visit the athlete brought new shirts and footballs to all the kids, who are mainly taken care of by the Cuban woman Marina. She is also leading a dancing group offering the kids and teenagers a constructive community and showing them new perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>Those kids need very simple things, like clothes, pencils and writing pads, as well as one Computer for their school lessons. Marina knows exactly what is needed and Kurt will bring it to the kids in cooperation with KENIAL.
